There are many things that happen in our lives that shape us into who we are in the present. In some cases, we naturally change into a different person as we gain life experiences. In other, however, we are forced into doing, or becoming, something or someone we never wanted to be in the first place and have to deal with the consequences of our actions.
In this play, X struggles with the events of their past to try to understand their current condition. The lines of sanity and insanity are blurred as X comes closer and closer to the reality of the event that happened, which led to X's current state. The question is then asked: is the event that led to X's current state a natural progression, or were they forced to a breaking point which led to actions that never would have happened otherwise? Insane or sane but victim of circumstance? You decide.
